In-Person, Outdoor, Ninety-minute to Two-Hour Workshops with Holly Merker, Birding Expert and Author

January 20, 21, & 22 at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge

Attendance is limited. 

All workshops start by meeting at Visitor Center Parking Lot.

  • Wear comfortable walking shoes and layers of clothing to be comfortable in changing temperatures
  • Bring Binoculars, your mask, water, and your own car.
  • Where to meet:  Visitor Center Parking Lot – please arrive 10-15 minutes early

Due to current Covid restrictions, each session has limited attendance – see course specifics.  Attendees will socially distance, and may be asked to wear a mask.

We will also have a limited supply of books for sale in the Bosque Nature Store during the event, and at the workshop sessions. Author Holly Merker will be happy to sign and personalize an Ornitherapy book for you!

Cancellation policy

Friends of Bosque del Apache reserves the right to cancel or revise any event when necessary. If it becomes necessary for us to cancel a paid event for which you have a reservation, we will notify you by email or telephone and issue a full refund. If you cancel your paid event by email or telephone, the following refund policy applies: Cancellations received by January 14th will be refunded in full minus registration fees. There are no refunds for amounts that are less than $20. If you need to cancel, please consider making your registration a contribution to the conservation of Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. Your contributions help preserve this national treasure that we all love.
