Alaska Grizzly Safaris – Who are they?
“Alaska Grizzly Safaris is a Destination Lodge & Guide Service for Photographers Specializing in Remote Wilderness Photo Safaris.
They do one thing: provide wildlife photographers the best coastal grizzly bears, wolves and dall sheep access in Alaska. This includes daily bush flying adventures into Alaska’s wildest wilderness. Their lodge is surrounded by 18 million acres of wilderness, accessible only by bush plane. The lodge is nestled between Katmai National Park & Lake Clark National Park. They also have a remote camp next to McNeil Bear Sanctuary. They have 5 aircraft which are always standing by just to fly their guest to one of 127 different locations.”
Jerry Jacques has been guiding photographers in Alaska since 1978. He holds the Alaska Master Guide License #110 and has 14,000 hours of Alaska bush-flying experience. He has been the personal guide and pilot for many of the world’s top nature photographers including Art Wolfe, Galen Rowel and dozens of other Nat Geo Photographers. Jerry has personally flown hundreds of wildlife surveys all over Alaska.
