Donor Care Manager

Trisha Sanchez has worked for Friends of Bosque del Apache, first in the Nature Store and then as the Donor Care Manager, since 2016, and is passionate about the preservation of this special and important habitat along the Middle Rio Grande Flyway.

After moving to New Mexico in 2007, Trisha quickly fell in love with the climate, culture, history and people of this state. She enjoys spending time hiking and camping in the northern New Mexico mountains with her husband and two children.

Trisha holds an M.A. degree in Secondary Education from Eastern New Mexico University and a B.A. in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked as a volunteer at several National Wildlife Refuges, including Sequoyah NWR in eastern Oklahoma, Bitter Lake NWR in southeastern New Mexico and Sevilleta NWR in central New Mexico.
