Crane Fiesta 2020 is pleased to partner with Sigma and Kristen Ryan
Sigma – Who are they?
“Since 1961, Sigma has worked towards a single, simple goal: To imagine, and develop, the technologies that will allow the attainment of the perfect image. It’s a commitment we’ve made and honored since day one. It’s evident in our collaborative design process that unites R&D, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and service. It’s evident in our standards—above and beyond industry norms—requiring 100% of our lenses to be analyzed by our proprietary ultra-high definition sensors and approved before leaving our factory. And it’s evident in our final products, built with premium materials and known worldwide for quality and performance.
Photography is all we do. And it’s all we’ve done. So you can rest assured that it’s something we know extensively and care deeply about.
You have a vision. We’ve made it our mission.”

Wide Angle to Telephoto Landscapes: Capturing the Essence of the Scene
Thursday, November 19th
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Compelling landscape imagery can be created with a full range of focal lengths. From the ultra-wide to the telephoto, the best focal length is the one that captures what draws your eye to the scene and makes you click the shutter. In this class, Kristen Ryan will go through her process for choosing a lens and focal length to best tell the story of a scene. Through descriptions and image examples, she will share how she uses her wide-angle and telephoto Sigma lenses to capture the beauty of the world.
Registration starts October 18th.
