Paige Morrow

Paige was elected to the board in 2026.  Her board position is a natural progression – in 2025, she applied for and accepted the role of volunteer grants researcher, working with the refuge senior biologist Claire Revekant. Through research, data collection and collaboration with both refuge and Friends staff, she assisted in writing the RFP application and methodology sections for a grant proposal and has begun researching others. Paige is dedicated to securing funds for the refuge during this “drought” in federal funding and budget cuts.

Paige a senior neighborhood advisor with Westcott Community Center and a seasoned, Masters–level, licensed and registered occupational therapist in the state of New York. Her career has prepared her for the detail-oriented nature of grant work, specifically in researching and collecting data, preparing needs assessments, writing reports, analyzing data, presenting to the public and collaborating across professions to achieve goal-directed outcomes. She brings her professional leadership and analytical skills to the board to support the refuge’s mission.

Paige is adept with technology and adapts to programs and software quickly – she brings to the Board her technical skills across many platforms. She has grassroots fundraising experience, experience on other non-profit boards and experience writing to legislators and advocating on social and environmental issues. Though Paige lives in New York, she has a keen interest in protected species and wildlife management at Bosque del Apache.
